It's autumn and the trees are shedding their colorful leaves. Inspired by this festive season, these nice fall centerpieces were made at the Turkish-American Cultural Center on November 20th by our attendees of the flower design class. Our instructor, Gulden, had taken a floral design class for one year at MATC and shared with us her knowledge on flower design. Everyone made their own centerpiece with a variety of flowers to pick from. All the flowers and tools for the centerpieces were provided for with a small fee from each person that attended. This way, there was a nice variety of wonderful flowers and picks for everyone to use in their designs. It was so much fun seeing everyone's designs and how they all differed in a unique way. The centerpieces were ready to decorate any table and lighten up any room in a cozy way during this holiday season. Everyone took their fall centerpieces home to share with loved ones.
We were all tired after making the centerpieces and had a great feast of delicious Turkish food.
