This idea was in the Florist's Review Magazine's December 2008 issue and I was planning to make one since I've first seen it. It is only a single stem silk peony, very big one. The stem is embellished with white, silver ribbon and beaded garlands. I also added a few artificial white leaves to the stem and the green plastic stem cannot be seen anymore. In the bottom of the vase, I added some clear plastic gems. It is a long lasting keepsake that you can enjoy, well... until you get bored of it. Then it is time to make another design:)
